Print Design

In addition to UI design, I do a fair amount of print design for medical devices. This includes design for quick reference guides, instructions for use, and user manuals. User materials are more valued in the medical space due to the high risk associated with the devices. The material designs below excel in visual hierarchy and organization, illustration work and clear, concise copy.

Nurses with varying levels of literacy were struggling to correctly administer an infusion pump in a clinical setting. We were tasked with creating a large, visual poster to guide nurses. Priorities included using minimal text, monosyllabic words (with the exception of clinical terminology), and clear intuitive graphics. I designed the layout and illustrations for the poster.
